West Wind
West wind blows
over moonlit hills
for to carry me home
Over the plains I hear singing
The beat of their feet on the dance floor
I want more
Hold me close
I want you to tell me
You’ll never let me go
Though I’m fading now
Along the road
think of all the family
We had to let got
They gather now
And oh, all the pains in this body
The creak of my knees in this worn down chair
I don’t care for what’s been lost and what’s faded now
All I want is to be lost in that whirling crowd
West wind blows
Over moonlit hills
For to carry me home
